Excitement all round

Well I am 9  1/2 months old now, and I am told very pretty, We went to another championship show and  the humans were pleased as they apparently qualified me for something called Crufts, no idea what that is but I expect I shall find out all in due course. My sister Tiddy has now branched out on her own and lives with johnny, she has a new name and a new little friend, Tiddy is now Dolly, and her new friend is an elderly pekingese gentleman called George, now she has settled in I think they are good friends which is nice.

We all had a day out one Sunday called lure coursing, Kira, Bob and me were taken, there was the biggest field I have ever seen, and as we are young are not allowed to chase this darting plastic bag, but we were allowed during the lunch break to all be let off our leads and have a good run round the field.It was amazing 10 of mum Tracey's litter of 12 turned up, the only 2 who were missing was Dolly and Albert, we missed them :(. Magus (maggots) mum is very good with a camera and took a most wonderful photo of all 10 of us with our humans, I think I shall post so you can all see and share.

Kira's getting old so she went to do some sunbathing mostly and pottering and sleeping, but she seemed to wake as soon as the food was served! typical of her. Bob was the star I think he has his own little fan club, lots of people asked exactly what he was, and the reply was your guess is as good as ours, poor boy he is of dubious parentage ( but we don't mention it to him) he is called a lurcher. It is Bob however who gets all the attention and he loves it, I don't mind cause I don't think he ever felt quite like a star before, he was in a dogs home and nearly put to sleep, so it's nice he has a bit of glory. because of his erm... parentage he was not allowed to take part in the proper coursing races, and he had to wait till the end when they do just chasing for fun,not that he minded a bit and he run like the wind and had 2 goes at it.He was so lovely to watch he is very fast at running and has great big strides, someone told our humans " you got the best dog here" and "oh i see you bought your beautiful boy again" (we went coursing two times this year). The second time we went coursing us pups were allowed to do a trial, which meant we had a go at chasing the plastic, my run was with my sister Roxy and Roxy's friend who she lives with called Mystique. Mystique is very pretty and has a pale golden silky flowing coat, she was good at chasing and Roxy was running like mad after her, they kind of left me for dust and I was chasing behind, I was running after Roxy rather than the plastic though hehe. then while the people were packing all the gear away we were again all allowed off for a good run, this time Bob run with us all too, it was great, and we were all very tired and slept all the way home for the 2 hour car journey, hope we can go again.

I havn't been digging very much in the grass, but have been busy making one nice deep hole right in front of where dad parks his car, on the side of the house it's concrete but at the end is a dirt bit , and I made 2 lovely holes there, I then decided to put a few of my toys in it, shame they got muddy one of them was my new toy bought at a dog show, oh well it will wash, i like mud anyway it tastes nice . Random thought.... I like curry..,. yum yum.
