what a terrible thing to do to a puppy!!! BATHING and a puppy school

BATHING, mum bathed me, then nearly blew my growing fur with a blowy thing... not nice and I screamed just to make sure she knew!!! I am sure I looked quite ridiculous with all this fur frizzed up, still a little digging in the garden soon sorted that out. The rain has stopped and dad with help finally put up new 6 foot security wire at the bottom of the garden to keep us in, we are now allowed in the big garden and can run till we are exhausted, I didn't know Bob could run so fast and I can't keep up with him in full flight , i think one of his relatives must be a cheetah. The cats are getting less grumpy with me, that Blossom is two faced and crafty, if I sniff her she swipes me and leers at me, then all of a sudden  when I have something tasty in my bowl suddenly I am her bestest friend and she expects to share in my tasties!!! what a cheek that cat has, mums got a photo to prove it as well, I expect she will post it here soon. The mud has turned to dust now and theres more exciting places to dig, down the bottom where the new fence is are piles of dirt and when I dig I find all sorts of knobbly tree roots and that , I heard mum say the garden looked like a war zone littered with lumpy dried roots and loads of our toys, teddy is filthy , although that has nothing to do with me it's Bob who insists they come out and play with us. Bobs got hardly any hair he was all thick and woolley, then one day vanished upstairs with mum and came down bald and smelled like a softy, he likes it though cause he don't get so hot now.

I have been enrolled into some "training school" we go Tuesday evenings in a little hall, I have met lots of other friends there as well, and theres another Dotty too, she is a bit of a handful for her mum, she is a smooth fox terrier and when she has to "move" tries to go at breakneck speed , her mum is in despair hahaha. Me ... I am quite a good girl, I havn't had to do much anyway Dad stands in this group of other people with their dogs, and we take it in turns till a lady says "hello Dotty" then she gently runs her hands over my little body, then says to dad "ok move her round" then we trot round and back to the lady, then I get lots of praise, This procedure is repeated a couple of times and then we go home, I wonder what the point of it is? I can already walk on a lead  so why do I need to go to a school to do it again!!! thats humans for you. I also seemed to cause quite a stir, and when they found out I was an afghan hound baby they all said they had never seen a small one like me and would look forward to seeing how i grow into what they recognise as an afghan.

There is a strange tuft of hair sticking up on top of my head, mum said I look like a mohican whatever one of those is, Oh and I am getting new teeth, my tiny ones in the front dropped out and in their place I am getting some bigger ones sparkly and white, an sure when I get all new ones I can bite even better  so that will be fun.  I have heard a whisper between the humans that I should soon go to get some microchip thing and a number, I AM NOT A NUMBER ...I am a DOTTY

I will get mum to put some more photos on here,

I send my bestest love to mum's Tracey and Jackie, and of course all my bruvvers and sisters,I see photos of one of my bruvs called Magus, saw a photo of him looking like a swamp monster... keep up the good work bruv :)

Love Dotty XXXXX
